Preparing Your Gear

Before you step into the slime‑filled arena, your armor should give you enough defense to survive the boss’s bursts while still allowing mobility.

Armor Options

Iron or Lead Armor – Easy to craft early game; provides ~15 defense.
Silver or Tungsten Armor – Slightly better defense (~19) and still accessible before hardmode.
Gold or Platinum Armor – Offers the highest pre‑hardmode defense (~23) and is worth the extra mining effort.
If you have access to Guardian Angel wings from a previous event, equip them for extra vertical mobility.
